Horry County police released a picture of Kendrick Walter Dorell Green, 26, also known as "Dee Da" Monday. They hope someone will recognize the man they've been searching for since he ran from officers Friday night.
Police say Green is wanted in connection with an attempted murder in the Racepath neighborhood of Myrtle Beach on September 25th.
Horry County police got a tip from Georgetown County Sheriff's deputies that Green was at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet. An officer walked up to Green outside the hospital about to question him about 6 p.m. Friday, and Green ran into the woods.
Georgetown County Sheriff's Office sent bloodhounds out looking for Green and set up a perimeter in the area behind hospital.
The bloodhounds lost Green's scent at Pond Road, and the active search was called off.
Police say Kendrick Green is believed to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached for any reason.
Horry County Police ask anyone seeing Kendrick Green to contact them at 843-248-1520.
