SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - A 21-month-old South Carolina boy missing for more than a day is being reunited with his family.

Search teams in Spartanburg County found little Jason Burton Saturday afternoon after failing to find the boy overnight. He was found near his home in the Cross Anchor area.

The boy's family told deputies Jason must have walked out the front door while his mother was in the bathroom.

The boy was wearing clothing unsuited to a cold night outside. He was described as wearing a white long-sleeved pajama top, yellow SpongeBob pants, and no shoes.
