According to officials at the Chesterfield County Detention Center, Carole Ann Hope was booked into their facility Thursday morning.
Officials say she was arrested by agents with the State Law Enforcement Division.She's charged with lewd act with a minor under the age of 16 and criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
Arrest warrants say she engaged in sexual acts with a 14-year-old on the side of the road outside McBee and again on a dirt road near the Central High School stadium in Chesterfield County. They say it happened between March 1 and October 31.
This is Hope's third arrest since last month.
SLED agents first arrested Hope for sex crimes in Darlington County. Warrants say between March 1 and October 31, Hope had sex with a 14-year-old at her Hartsville home. They say the teenager was a student of Hope's at New Heights Middle School.
She was then transferred to Conway, in Horry County, where she faces the same two charges for incidents with the same student.
Hope remains on leave from her teaching position at New Heights Middle School in Chesterfield County
Her teaching certificate has been suspended.
