Mullins man dies after being hit by two cars

Highway Patrol says a man crossing Highway 76 East in Mullins right in front of the Little Pee Dee Manor was hit by two cars Wednesday night.

It happened about 6:30 pm.

Marion County Coroner Jerry Richardson says Alvin D. Graves, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Richardson says no autopsy is planned at this time.

No one in the cars was injured. No charges have been filed. The accident is still under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
