A St. James High School student was arrested Tuesday for a Facebook post Horry County police say she made during an evacuation for a bomb threat.

Horry County police charged Ashley Snyder, 17, with disturbing schools.

They say she posted "time to die" on her Facebook page during the evacuation, causing parents to get nervous and upset.

Snyder is not charged for the actual bomb threat. Horry County Police Department Sgt. Robert Kegler told NewsChannel 15 Wednesday morning that the bomb threat investigation is still considered open.

Snyder's mother said her daughter will spend the night at J. Reuben Long Detention Center, because her bond hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday.

St. James High School Principal Van Penell said two other students were arrested after the bomb threat Tuesday, but he would not give details on their charges or what they are accused of doing.

We contacted Horry County Police Tuesday night, but no one on duty could give us information about the students or their charges.

This is the fifth bomb threat in the past three weeks at St. James High School. Each one has turned out to be false.

Tuesday morning, a note was found in the same bathroom where another bomb threat was found on December 2, said Horry County School District Spokeswoman Teal Britton.

The Horry County Police Department's Bomb Squad conducted a sweep of the school before clearing the students to return.
