Eight Marlboro County men plead guilty to federal drug charges

Rysheen Rogers, Jamie Lilly, Jerrica Gillespie, David Liles, Terrance Fuller, Ramon Covington, Calvin Townsend and Lequan Fox have all pleaded guilty to federal drug conspiracy charges, according to court documents.

The men were arrested in April for dealing drugs in an east Bennettsville community.

Officers say some of their drug trading dates back as far as 1997.

The men will be sentenced sometime next year. They face five to 40 years in prison and fines of more than $1 million.

Demario Covington, David Stuckey and Kartarie Leake have not pled guilty. A trial date for them has not been set.
