DILLON -- Just after 12:30 Wednesday afternoon, the Player's Club on Dean Court off of Highway 9 West burned.
Captain Cliff Arnette with the Dillon County Sheriff's Office says several people saw the club burning and called 911.
Fire crews got to the scene and were able to contain the fire.
Arnette says the fire is very suspicious and he's called in the State Law Enforcement Division Arson Team to help determine a cause.
Arnette says the structure of the building is still standing. He says there is fire, water and smoke damage on the inside. He doesn't know the extent of the damages.
