Darlington County Administrator Dale Surrettsays the South Carolina Department of Commerce is expected to announce in the coming days that 10 new jobs are headed to Darlington County.

Surrett says he can't release the name of the company or its location right now, but they're calling it "Project Sunrise."

He says Darlington County Council members passed a resolution to provide certain infrastructure credits to the company.

Surrett says the credits will reduce the company's fee-in-lieu of taxes payment to the county by 50 percent.

Surrent says he doesn't know exactly what the wages will be for the jobs, but they're in line with the average manufacturing wages which is $15 dollars an hour.
