Today's planned test of the 787 Dreamliner out of North Charleston's Boeing facility has been delayed until tomorrow.
Myrtle Beach International Airport spokesperson Lauren Morris says the exact times of Wednesday's test flights are not known.
MYR was chosen as a test site because of its runway size, instrumentation and other factors. Morris said the test flights will include aerial familiarizations.
The 787 went into service earlier this year.
The jets are being built in the Pacific Northwest as well as at a $750 million manufacturing plant in North Charleston that opened last summer. The North Charleston plant represents the single largest industrial investment in South Carolina history.
