The Republican presidential debate in January will be held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
A volleyball tournament that was scheduled there for the same date has now been moved.
The Fox News presidential debate between the Republican candidates will be held January 16th, but the Winter Bump Volleyball Tournament was supposed to be held January 14-16 at the convention center.
The volleyball tournament will be moved to the Florence Civic Center and Horry County and Myrtle Beach recreation centers.
According to a release from the Florence Civic Center, the tournament will bring more than 56 volleyball teams including 13, 14, and 15 year old age divisions to the area. More than 2,000 people are expected to attend with an estimated economic impact of $3 million. The teams will come from South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia.
