It appears an incumbent has lost her seat on North Myrtle Beach City Council.

Fred Coyne is the winner of the runoff for the Cherry Grove seat on council with 69 percent of the vote. Doris Williams, the incumbent, got 31 percent.

These are unofficial results. The city's Election Commission will meet to certify the vote Thursday at 10 a.m.

If the results stand, Coyne will be sworn into office at the city council meeting Monday, November 21.
