Agents from the Marion County Combined Drug Unit seized more than 10 pounds of marijuana along with nine firearms including high powered rifles Tuesday night at the Jackson family estate on Perritt Court in Marion County.
According to Marion County Sheriff's Office, The Drug Unit had received several complaints of suspected drug activity about the residence.
Investigators say the Jackson family had developed a small criminal enterprise by growing and distributing marijuana.
Donnie Stonewall Jackson, Brandon Stonewall Jackson, Eric Scott Jackson, Geraldine Gray Jackson, and Taylor Dawn Strickland were each charged with Trafficking Marijuana, Manufacturing Marijuana, and Conspiracy to Manufacture Marijuana and subsequently released from the Marion County Detention Center on $30,000 surety bonds.
Brittany Nichole Bass was also arrested and charged with Simple Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Substance and released on a $10,620 surety bond.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources assisted in the operation.
