Marlboro County man killed in wreck

Marlboro County Coroner Tim Brown says Tommy Jernigan Jr., 37, died Wednesday morning from injuries suffered in a car accident.

Brown says Jernigan was traveling on McDonald Farm Road between McColl and Clio when he ran off the road and crashed into a tree.

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
