Horry County police responded to Brisson Court around 8 a.m. Tuesday.

CONWAY -- Horry County police are investigating a homicide just outside of Conway, according to Sgt. Robert Kegler.
A woman was found dead from gunshot wounds at 1266 Brisson Court Tuesday morning, Kegler said.
The shooting happened around 3:15 a.m.
Horry County Coroner Robert Edge identified the victim as Shaquille Pertell, 19. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
Police say someone forced their way in the front door and fired several shots, killing Pertell.
