Horry County police are at the scene of a homicide just outside of Conway, according to Sgt. Robert Kegler.
A woman was found dead from a gunshot wound at 1266 Brisson Court Tuesday morning, Kegler said. The shooting happened around 3:15 a.m.
Horry County Coroner Robert Edge identified the victim as Shaquille Pertell, 19. An autopsy is scheduled Tuesday afternoon.
Police plan to release additional details later this morning. NewsChannel 15 will post them as soon as they become available.
