NORTH MYRTLE BEACH -- North Myrtle Beach will hold its citywide home clean-up day Saturday.

The event gives residents a chance to get rid of things like appliances, furniture, paint, oil and old tires.

The city asks you donate what's still usable to the Salvation Army or Goodwill Industries.

Unusable items can be dropped off at the North Myrtle Beach sanitation department transfer station on 2nd Avenue South or, call 280-5500 to have a special collection arranged.
