Monday afternoon, a house fire claimed the life of Dillon man.
Dillon County Coroner Donnie Grimsley says officials with an alarm company called 911, alerting dispatch to a possible fire at a home on North 8th Avenue in the city limits of Dillon.
We're waiting on fire officials to release more details about the fire.
The coroner says he will release the victim's name when he makes contact with his next of kin.
