The second annual Bras Across the Water event was held in North Myrtle Beach Tuesday night.
Crews tossed the bras to raise money for Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. The fundraiser is sponsored by Freedom Boat Club.
It took 1,100 bras to reach across the 2,000 foot Harbourgate Bridge.
One in eight bras stand for the one in eight women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lives.
More than 2,000 bras were collected that will be donated to Helping Hand and a women's shelter.
