Crews are working a six car accident at the intersection of Highway 544 and Singleton Ridge Road.
One car overturned according to Asst. Chief Justin Gibbons with Horry County Fire Rescue.
Gibbons says three patients have been taken to area hospitals. One trauma patient was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
One lane in each direction on Highway 544 is open, but traffic is moving slowly.
