Police continue to search for two people who shot a man at his home.
Horry County police say two people dressed in dark clothes starting banging on the door of an apartment on Ivy Stone Drive in the Palmetto Point neighborhood.
When the man opened the door, one of the suspects shot him in the head with a small silver revolver.
The victim said he tried to push the door closed but was unsuccessful.
In the police report, the victim's roommate said he jumped out of his bed and heard a loud bang.
The roommate said the men left in a black Dodge Avenger.
The shooting victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
