Florence County deputies charged Torrie Alonzo Gordon, 24, of Florence with Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime, Armed Robbery, and Burglary First Degree. He was arrested on October 5th.
Deputies say Gordon went into a home on June 10 with a handgun and demanded money from a person inside. They say Gordon shot the victim once in the lower back.
Deputies say the victim was able to fight off Gordon with a small knife and cut him at some point. Investigators tested blood from that wound and matched the DNA to Gordon
