An Horry County murder remains under investigation Monday.
Horry County Police were called to Summer Crest Apartments off Highway 90 just after 3 a.m. Sunday.
Horry County Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard identified the victim as George Beuford, Jr., 24, of Little River. Willard says Beuford was shot once in the chest.
He died at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
