PERU, WEST VIRGINIA -- A plane that had been missing in West Virginia since Sunday night has been found crashed on the ground in a mountainous area near Peru, West Virginia, and officials have confirmed the three people on board are dead.

The Piper PA-32 Saratoga went missing Sunday night as it was heading to Johnstown, Pa from Myrtle Beach.
