It's estimated that more than 280,000 women across the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. One Conway tattoo shop gave away tattoos to raise money for breast cancer awareness.

Sunday afternoon the Hole in the Wall tattoo parlor gave away pink ribbon tattoos to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

The idea came to shop owner Terri Ryan-Pierce after one of her clients, April Jones, underwent a mastectomy after several lumps in her breast and chest were found to be pre-cancerous.

"It's a reminder every day of what I've gone through, what so many women have gone through," Jones said.

The shop said in total they gave 45 tattoos and raised more than $3,000.
