A North Myrtle Beach man was shopping for a new truck when he left a car lot and bought a lottery ticket.

He won $200,000 on the $10 Blue Sapphire Bucks ticket that he bought at the Kangaroo Express in Myrtle Beach.

"I took my glasses off and wiped my eyes," the winner told lottery officials.

The odds of winning $200,000 on a Blue Sapphire Bucks ticket are 1 in 411,428.57.

The winner had enough money to buy the truck and then some.

The Kangaroo Express store received a commission of $2,000 for selling the winning ticket.

Since the start of the Lottery in 2002, more than 932,000 college scholarships and grants have been awarded to South Carolina's students.
