Horry County Police arrested a bank robbery suspect shortly after it happened Thursday afternoon.

Police say a man robbed the First Citizens Bank on Socastee Boulevard around 4:30 p.m.

An officer found a vehicle that matched the description of the suspect's vehicle and pulled him over in the Ternhall Subdivison off Highway 707.

After a brief pursuit on foot, the officer arrested the man. No injuries were reported. There is no word if the man was armed.

The FBI and Horry County detectives are working together to determine which charges will be filed. At this point, the name of the suspect isn't being released.
