Ken Summerall, current President of Horry Telephone Cooperative (HTC), died unexpectedly Thursday while attending a National Telephone Cooperative Association meeting in Seattle.
He served on the Horry County School Board for four years and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Summerall was very active in the community.
Funeral arrangements are still being planned.
