The Francis Marion University ARCH (Advancing Rural Community Health) Program will sponsor a series of free health screenings for the general public over the next few weeks.

Some of the services include checking your body mass index, blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol. Free nutrition information will also be available.

The locations and times are listed below:

· Friday, Sept. 30 - Door of Hope Christian Church, 401 Martin Luther King Blvd, Marion, 1-5 p.m.

· Friday, Oct. 7 - Britton's Neck Elementary, 223 Gresham Rd., Gresham, 1-5 p.m.

· Friday, Oct. 14 - Trinity United Methodist Church, 300 Society St., Clio, 1-5 p.m.

· Friday, Oct. 21 - Wallace Elementary Middle School, 3643 Highway 9 West, Wallace, 1-5 p.m.

· Friday, Oct. 28 - First Friendship Baptist Church, 138 Beaufort St., Dillon, 1-5 p.m.
