Horry County police arrest Hartsville men for fraud

Horry County police charged Ronald Eric Ratliff, 49, James Earl Winburn, 46, Wendell Allen Ingram, 41, and Jesse William Sparrow, 27, each with Criminal Conspiracy and Forgery More Than $5,000. All four men are from Hartsville.

Sun Cruz Casino security detained the men in Little River on September 22. Security told police the men were bringing counterfeit gaming tickets onto the boat and turning them in for cash.

Police say the men had been coming to the boat with the counterfeit gaming tickets for about three weeks. Police say they cashed about $50,000 in fake tickets.

All four suspects were taken to J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
