A car flipped into a ditch at the Highway 17/Glenns Bay Road intersection near Surfside.

SURFSIDE BEACH -- One car has flipped into the ditch alongside the southbound lanes of Highway 17 at Glenns Bay Road near Surfside Beach.
Both southbound lanes were closed for a time, but are now are back open again.
Rescue crews had to cut one person out of the car. That person was taken to the hospital. We'll let you know when the lanes have reopened.
