Governor Nikki Haley will visit Florence this morning for the South Carolina Army National Guard 133rd military police company's departure ceremony.

The company has been ordered into federal active service in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The unit is heading to Fort Bliss, Texas, for about two months of training. It will depart for Afghanistan in mid-November for a nine-month deployment.

The event will be held at the Florence Civic Center on Radio Drive at 9:00 a.m.
