TheFBI Joint Terrorism Task Force investigated a suspicious vehicle on I-85 in Anderson County Monday afternoon.

According to a release from the FBI, out of abundance of caution, traffic on I-85 (mile marker 27) was diverted. Mile marker 27 is on I-85 between Greenville and Anderson.

According to WYFF in the Upstate, after less than half an hour of inspecting what was inside the truck, the interstate was reopened in both directions.

WYFF reports the Anderson County Sheriff's Office www.andersonsheriff.com/ received the bulletin from the Task Force to look out for a suspicious truck, including the license plate number, heading north on I-85. A deputy spotted the vehicle and stopped it about 2 p.m.
