A weak disturbance will pass the area today bringing more cloud cover and even the slight chance for a shower and storm into the evening. Skies clear overnight and temps will drop back to the 60s. We'll see plenty of sunshine and warmth through the mid week. By the end of the week an impressive cold front will come through bringing an increased chance for showers and storms and a decrease in temperatures. Get ready for highs in the 70s. Highs will remain in the mid 80s and low 90s through Thursday before the front comes through.
Tropical Storm Maria is forecast to head toward the Bahamas over the next few days then turn North and Northeast away from the East Coast of the US. While no direct impacts are expected from Maria, we will see an increased risk of rip currents through the end of the week.
