Sidewalk Sale going on this weekend for juvenile diabetes research

The new Fresh Market store in Pawleys Island will hold a "Hope Floats" Sidewalk Sale Saturday and Sunday.

From 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., you can buy root beer floats, hot dogs, and ice cream sundaes for a $2 donation and gourmet cookies for a $1 donation. Sugar-free root beer floats and ice cream sundaes will be available. All money raised will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation www.jdrf.org/ and its mission to find a cure for type 1 diabetes.

This the the 17th annual event at all 107 Fresh Market stores.

On October 1st, the first Walk-to-Cure Diabetes in Myrtle Beach will be held at The Market Common. Registration will begin at 10am.
