Horry County Police used a Taser on a man who they say was resisting arrest in Horry County Thursday night.

It happened just before 8 p.m. behind Dick's Pawn Shop near Carolina Forest on Highway 501.

Lt. Raul Denis with the Horry County Police Department says deputies from the Horry County Sheriff's Office made the initial traffic stop.

Denis says the person who was pulled over refused to obey officers and they used a taser.

The person's identity and the charges they may face have not been released.
