The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is shouting, "We're number 2!"

Their website VisitMyrtleBeach.com ranked second in Google searches among all the U.S. summer vacation destinations, trailing only Orlando, FL.

Rounding out the top five behind Myrtle Beach were Las Vegas, New York and Chicago.

The chamber says it ranked much lower in the popular search engine's database five or six years ago, but now they've seen visitors to the site increase by 128.4 percent since 2008.

The website is on pace to have more than six and a half million visits this year alone.

Myrtle Beach Area Chamber leaders recently launched a mobile version of their website. They say the amount of mobile searches on Google have increased four times since last year.
