Georgetown County deputies charged Odell Cammander Kennedy, 51, of Georgetown, with attempted murder.
They say Kennedy shot his brother while his brother was driving away in the 800 block of Dawhoo Lake Road about 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The brother who was shot crashed in the Lambert Town community. He was taken to Georgetown Memorial Hospital and then to the Medical University of South Carolina.
The case remains under investigation.
