Georgetown County Sheriff's Investigators have arrested a man in connection to an armed robbery at the Kangaroo Store on the corner of Highway 707 and Highway 17 Bypass on Tuesday morning around 7 a.m.

William Russell June, Jr. of Myrtle Beach was arrested during a traffic stop in Myrtle Beach at the intersection of Highway 501 and Grissom Parkway.

He is being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.

June's arrest was the result of the deputies' investigation which started Tuesday morning.
