CONWAY -- Conway police charged Robert Evans, 53, of Bucksport, with three counts of Burglary first degree.
They say he threw a rock into a window at Burger Brothers on 4th Avenue on July 31 at 4:48 a.m. Police say Evans tried to crawl through the broken window when the alarm went off, and he ran away.
On August 3rd, police say he threw a brick through the glass door of Nye's Pharmacy on 10th Avenue at 4 a.m. Police say surveillance video showed him pushing over a freezer and going through drawers and cabinets, taking a white bag filled with payroll checks and cash.
Police say on August 28th, Evans broke a window at Ricks Bait and Tackle and stole items there as well.
