Santee Cooper reports power outages from Hurricane Irene

Allyson is the News at 6pm, 7pm, and 11pm Anchor and Assistant News Director at NewsChannel 15.

As of 7:15 a.m. Saturday, Santee Cooper is reporting 592 customers without power.

162 outages are reported in the Briarcliffe area and 391 in North Myrtle Beach. There are also a few in Loris, Myrtle Beach, and Conway.

Crews are out working to restore power to affected customers.
