A three-year-old boy was killed Wednesday afternoon after falling off a riding lawn mower.
A three-year-old boy was killed Wednesday afternoon in Tabor City, NC after falling off a riding lawn mower.
It happened just before 4 p.m on West Third Street.
Horry County Coroner Robert Edge says Mario Lewis, Jr. died after being taken to the emergency room at Loris Community Hospital.
Edge says Lewis died of head injuries.
Police say Lewis was riding on the back of a riding lawn mower driven by a family friend when he fell off.
Tabor City Police continue to investigate.
