A cold front will linger across the area during the next few days. This front will bring in drier air which will give the area a slight break from the excessive heat and humidity we have been seeing. It will still be hot, but the humidity will remain lower Inland moreso than the Grand Strand. With dry air in place, rain chances will remain low with only a slight chance for rain by Friday. Another cold front is expected to arrive on Sunday. It will bring in a better chance for showers and storms, but also a little shot of cooler conditions that will arrive for next week.
A few very weak disturbances are out in the Atlantic but none are showing any great signs for potential development over the next several days. Head over to our Tropical Update page where you can get the latest information on the tropics and also use our new Interactive Hurricane Tracker.
