Police say a man armed with a handgun approached bank tellers in Myrtle Beach and made off with an undetermined amount of cash.
Myrtle Beach police Captain David Knipes says a man robbed the TD Bank at 7901 North Kings Highway Monday around 3:30 p.m.
Police say the man was armed with a black handgun, approached the tellers and made off with an undetermined amount of cash. He was last seen running into the woods behind the bank.
The man is described as 20 to 30 years old, approximately 5'9" to 6'01" tall, weighing 140 to 160lbs. He was wearing a black baseball cap with the SC state logo, a navy blue and white bandana that covered his face, a black t-shirt, gray or olive green cargo pants, black tennis shoes, a black backpack and brown cotton garden-type gloves.
