Despite the economy, it's expected to be a busy weekend on the Grand Strand.

86 percent of weekly rented vacation properties are occupied.

The Brittain Center for Resort Tourism at Coastal Carolina University expects that go as high as 94 percent this weekend.

Nightly rentals like hotels and condos could be near or about 95 percent.
