Darlington man sentenced to 47 years for Conway murder

A jury found Henry Jermain Dukes, 28, guilty of murder in the shooting death of Andrico Gowans of Conway in November 2007.

Dukes is not eligible for parole.

Police say Dukes escaped to Florida after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was arrested in Miami.
