HARTSVILLE -- Hartsville police say they need the public's help with any information that could lead to an arrest in the shooting of Hazel Herkin Knox, 51,  last Thursday at 309 Cooley Street.

The man was found bleeding on the ground behind his mobile home. He later died at the hospital.

Call the Hartsville Police Department at 843-383-3011 or submit a tip using Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or the Crimestoppers website.

"The investigation is ongoing," said Chief James Hudson.   "Anyone with information should contact the Hartsville Police Department or notify Crimestoppers. We are looking to the community for possible leads, and we hope our citizens will work with us to solve this case."
