Time change for Haley's signing of a bill that forms new district in Myrtle Beach

Governor Nikki Haley  plans to sign the the congressional reapportionment bill into law at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach Monday. The time has been changed from 3:30 p.m. to 10 a.m.

The bill forms a new 7th Congressional District that encompasses the Grand Strand and the Pee Dee. 

Legal challenges are expected. The plan also must pass review by the U.S. Justice Department.
