Matt and Susan Lewis love spending time cradling their quadruplets: Maylee, Addison, Brayden, and Parker.
Parker is the only boy in the bunch.
"It's just a miracle. Four miracles. What else could you ask for?" said Susan.
All of the babies remain at McLeod Health because they were under weight at birth, between 2.5 and 3.5 pounds.
The girls are now at four pounds, but Parker is in what's called an isolette incubator to maintain his body temperature until he gains more weight.
Matt said, "We got to get him a little beefed up a little bit. He's kind of lagging behind them a little."
The couple never expected to be pregnant with quads, but say their beautiful bundles of joy are now their reality.
"Everybody said it's going to change your life when you first have a child. Soon as I saw all four of them what they've been through right now, I really see what everybody's talking about, and I can understand what being a father's like," said Matt.
"It's life changing," said Susan. "You used to just consider everything was for you...You have four big responsibilities to take care of."
Major responsibilities - like at least 40 diaper changes a day, dozens of feedings and plenty of hugs and kisses.
But Susan says she wouldn't take it back for anything. Matt says, "It's been a joy watching them so far."
The couple is already recognizing the different personalities in their babies. "Maylee's gonna let you know when it's time to eat. I think Brayden's started to do the same. See Addison - she's been the biggest so far, and I think she's going to tag along behind them," said Matt.
Two of the babies are expected to go home Saturday. The other two could be released next week.
