Police charged Brandon Whittington, 20, with murder in the death of Dustin Schuler.
They say a passer-by called 911 to report a man lying the parking lot of Old Bootsy's Stop and Shop convenience store on South Main Street in Lake City just after 12:30 a.m. Friday.
Police say Schuler was shot to death.
