Trial has been set for August 8 for the Socastee High student accused of shooting at the school resource officer and bringing bombs to school.
Christian Helms is charged with attempted murder and three counts of possession of a manufactured bomb device.
He's accused of shooting at Officer Erik Karney. Shrapnel wounded Karney's face.
Police say Helms also brought bombs to school in his backpack.
Helms will be tried as an adult.
The solicitor's office previously said his trial would start in August or September.
